When we talk about the May 19th Replacement Levy, we aren't just talking about budgets—we’re talking about the daily experiences of our students. The KSD Replacement Levy covers 30% of our operating costs that the state and federal government simply don’t fund. This includes the "basics" like heat, electricity, and fuel, but it also funds the programs and people that make Kellogg Schools special: Essential Staff: 12 Teachers, 2 Administrators, and over 50 support staff members (bus drivers, cooks, and aides). Student Programs: Full-Day Kindergarten, JROTC, Foreign Languages, and Career Technical Programs. The Extras: Sports, extracurricular activities, and elementary Music & PE. This is a local decision for our local schools. Let’s keep these programs thriving for our kids.
