Megan Cline Named 2025 Teacher of the Year
Megan Cline, a math teacher at Kellogg High School since 2015, was named the 2025 Teacher of the Year. Cline was nominated by fellow teacher Kelton Enich, who praised her as "one of the most consistent and rigorous teachers" at KHS. Enich's nomination highlighted Cline's exceptional skill in teaching a subject many students find challenging, noting her enthusiasm, dedication, and structured classroom environment.
Beyond her classroom expertise, Cline is deeply committed to improving KHS. Her extensive involvement in school activities includes serving as BTL lead, a member of BMT, a Dual Credit U of I Computer Science teacher, prom advisor, mentor to new teachers, and a member of the Student Handbook committee. Enich emphasized Cline's leadership, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to upholding high academic standards. He stated, "I can confidently say that if Megan was not a teacher at KHS, our school-wide standards would not be as high as they currently are." Cline is also known as a wonderful colleague and friend, contributing to the positive culture of the school staff.
