Brad Harmon - Principal, Kellogg Middle School

I am so happy to introduce myself to the Kellogg community. My name is Brad Harmon, and I am joining the Kellogg school district as the principal of Kellogg Middle School.
I come to Kellogg with 15 years as a school administrator and 25 total years in education. The majority of my career has been spent in Post Falls, with three years in Lakeland.
In my years in education, I have taught a vast array of grades and subjects. I taught all subjects in sixth grade, ancient civilizations, science, and ELA in 7th grade, and US History, science, ELA, PE, and video productions for 8th graders. I also taught ELA, history, and economics at the high school level.
As an administrator, I have been an alternative high school principal, middle school assistant principal, middle school principal, and elementary principal.
I am so excited to once again work in a middle school, and more importantly, I look forward to working in a smaller community that truly wants what is best for kids.
Outside of school, I love to spend time with my two daughters, I love fishing, and spend a lot of time using my scroll saw and laser engraver.
I am so excited to meet you and to get to learn more about the Kellogg community. As a born and bred North Idaho resident, I truly appreciate what Kellogg has to offer.

I have actively participated in various educational committees, including those focused on transition programs, MTSS, and ISAT.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping, golfing, and kayaking. I'm still learning golf and prefer playing best ball for a more enjoyable experience. I also enjoy crafting and playing games with my husband, two adult children, and friends.

Patrick Levesque - 5th Grade Teacher at Canyon Elementary

My name is Patrick Levesque and I am excited to begin teaching 5th Grade at Canyon Elementary this year. Previously, I have been teaching as a paraprofessional and behavior interventionist for special education middle school students in Coeur d’Alene. My educational background is in Forestry and Natural Resource Sciences, with my prior career experience serving as a wildland firefighter/EMT and forestry technician for both the United States Forest Service and Idaho Department of Lands. My teaching philosophy is that education should impart values as well as fostering moral development, in addition to knowledge and skill acquisition. Aside from helping students become well-rounded academically, my goal is to guide and motivate students to become independent, helpful and resilient. I enjoy teaching as well as being taught by others. My hobbies include trail running, weightlifting, trail biking, snowshoeing, reading, and ultimate frisbee. I’m looking forward to being a part of and contributing to a small, yet personable school district that serves an equally tight-knit and industrious community.
