A huge thank you to Paige Harder and Louise Haley for their incredible generosity! After reading about the recent upgrades to our Ag Sciences program in the Shoshone News-Press, they donated $5,000 to support our students’ learning. Today they stopped by to deliver the donation, meet our hardworking students, and even pose for a picture together.
We are so grateful for community members like Paige and Louise who believe in investing in our kids and their future. 🌱🔧🐾

#EveryDayCounts

🥳 Big news, KSD families!
Starting today, Sept. 2, ALL Kellogg School District schools—Canyon Elementary, Pinehurst Elementary, Kellogg Middle School, and Kellogg High School—are covered under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
That means:
✅ Every student eats FREE breakfast & lunch—no applications, no fees, no barriers.
❌ Extras like second servings, bottled drinks, snacks, or ice cream still cost extra.
A huge shout-out to Food Services Director Leah Figueroa for leading the way on this effort to make sure every KSD student has the fuel they need to succeed!

The new Pinehurst Elementary playground is *ALMOST* complete!
Here's a sneak peek of students enjoying some of the new play surfaces on the first day of school.
More pictures and information to come!

Kellogg School District Welcome Back Newsletter

Today, all KSD staff gathered for a special event with keynote speaker Devin Siebold, who reminded us of the power of laughter—not just in the classroom, but in life. His message was uplifting, energizing, and the perfect sendoff as we prepare to welcome our students back on Tuesday, September 2nd.
Here’s to a great school year ahead—because joy, connection, and laughter make all the difference! ✨

Today, we welcomed back our amazing KSD staff (and new therapy dog, Murphy!) at our annual general meeting. Thank you Superintendent Lance Pearson, CIA Director Nathan Whatcott and Benefits & Payroll Clerk Jamie Dixson for getting the year started off in the right direction. We are proud of and appreciate our dedicated staff members who make the Kellogg School District a special place in our community. Here's to a great 2025-2026 school year!

Big thanks to Sunshine Mine for their generous $8,000 donation to the KHS Welding Program! 👩🏭👨🏭 This gift will help improve our shop, purchase new welders, and expand opportunities for our students.
We are so grateful for the support of our community partners! 💜💛
