Our attendance numbers dipped a bit this week as several illnesses made their way through some of our schools. We’re wishing a quick recovery to the students, staff, and families who are under the weather — rest up and take care of yourselves. As we head toward the end of third quarter and spring break just a few weeks away, we look forward to welcoming everyone back healthy and ready to finish the quarter strong!

Remember! Clocks spring forward on Sunday, March 8th!

Cupid made a stop at KHS on Thursday! 💌
Rachael Krusemark’s homeroom brought back the “old school” Valentine’s party vibes, complete with handwritten cards, sweet treats, and plenty of smiles. It was pretty special to see these “big kids” light up while reading their valentines and enjoying time together. Sometimes the simple traditions really are the best ones.
As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, we want to share our love and heartfelt gratitude with the entire KSD community. Thank you for the support, encouragement, and care you show our students and staff all year long. We are so thankful to be part of such a strong community. ❤️💜 #levyfunded

Every day in school matters. When students are present consistently, they build stronger learning habits, stay connected to their teachers and peers, and are better set up for academic success.
We know mornings can be busy and schedules can be full, but showing up—even on the hard days—adds up in powerful ways. Thank you to our students, families, and staff for continuing to make attendance a priority and helping our students stay on track. Let’s keep the momentum going! 📚#everydaycounts
