We are thrilled to announce that Kellogg High School has been awarded the 2025 State 3A Volleyball Sportsmanship Award by the Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA)! This honor recognizes schools that demonstrate integrity, respect, fair play, and positive school culture — both on and off the court. A special shoutout to Scott Miller and Dan Davidian for their leadership in promoting sportsmanship, and to our student-athletes, coaches, and fans for representing KHS and our community with pride throughout the season.

Attendance across the district remains strong, and we appreciate the effort it takes from everyone to keep our students engaged and in class. Consistent attendance makes a real difference in student success — thank you for helping make that possible.

The Kellogg School District would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote in Tuesday’s supplemental levy election. While the levy did not pass, we appreciate the effort of those in the community that positively supported the levy election.
We remain committed to providing a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment for all students. In the coming weeks, the Board of Trustees and district leadership will review the election results and determine next steps. We will continue to communicate openly with our staff, families, and patrons as we move forward together.

Set your clocks back one hour this Sunday, November 2nd & vote Tuesday, November 4th!

State funding provides for 58.87 teachers in KSD — but to keep class sizes smaller and offer electives, fine arts, and specialized instruction, supplemental levy dollars fund an additional 10.8 teachers.
The Nov. 4th supplemental levy will replace the current levy that maintains these programs, class sizes, and opportunities for all KSD students.

A friendly reminder: please remember to vote on Tuesday, November 4th and also, next Thursday, November 6th, marks the end of the first quarter!
Let’s finish strong and keep those attendance numbers boo-tiful! 💜💛

For information about the KSD Supplemental Levy election, visit: https://www.kelloggschools.org/page/supplemental-levy-election-information

Because of changes in state funding (HB 292) and the early payoff of the district’s bond, the anticipated levy rate is expected to decrease to about $184.76 per $100,000 of taxable property value — approximately $29.61 less than the current rate.
An increased levy amount with a decreased tax rate means we can continue supporting the essential programs and staff that make a difference for our students, while easing the local tax burden.

Our upcoming Nov. 4th supplemental levy helps maintain the programs, services, and staffing that support every KSD student — from classrooms to buses to the activities that make school special.
This levy replaces the current one, continuing the support that keeps class sizes small, provides vital staff and services, and funds opportunities like athletics, music, drama, and more.
