How do I log in to ClassLink?

Each school organization has a unique login page URL. The URL should look like the URLs in the example below:

https://launchpad.classlink.com/ksd391

Example of an organization's custom login page:

When signing in with Google, please log out of other active Google account sessions.

-If you do not know your username or password and are still receiving an "Invalid Username or Password" message, please contact your teacher, media specialist, or technology department as accounts are managed by the school organization.

What are my username and password?

Usernames and passwords are managed by school organizations. First, try to locate the ClassLink login page for your school organization. The school might have posted login guides on the top banner. Login guides might also be present on your school's home page. The guides might provide the expected username and password for teachers and students.

If you do not know your username or password, or still cannot log in, the next best option is to contact your school district's help desk for assistance.

I'm getting "Access Denied" or "Account not connected" when trying to Sign in with Google or Microsoft. Why?

When clicking the Sign In With Google button in ClassLink, Google is signing in with an active Google account, a personal account that does not have access to ClassLink. Make sure to log out of Google. You may go to https://accounts.google.com/Logout to log out of Google. Then go back to your ClassLink login page to log back in. This time, you will be prompted to input your school-issued Google username and password.

The same issue occurs with Sign in with Microsoft. Make sure another Microsoft account is not currently logged in to the browser.

"There appears to be an issue with your network"

When this error message appears, there is an issue communicating with a server on the school network. The ClassLink team will connect with the school organization's technology department to troubleshoot the issue and restore the system as quickly as possible. During this time, a pop up message will be posted for additional information regarding the outage.

What is the username and password for an app I clicked?

If you are prompted for a username and password after clicking an app and you are unaware of your username and password for that app, the best option is to contact your teacher or technology department. Accounts to apps are managed and provided by schools.

My webcam isn't loading. Why?

Most modern web browsers support WebRTC, which supports easy access to a webcam from web page scripts. However, Safari (on Mac) does not support WebRTC. Install the Google Chrome browser on your Mac.

What is my Google Classroom or Teams Class Code?

Google Classroom classes are created and managed by the teacher. Please contact your teacher for the class code. If you are going to Classroom.google.com directly (outside of ClassLink) and it's trying to login a different account, go to https://accounts.google.com to check other active accounts, log out of Google then login with your school Google account.

I'm getting "HTTP error 400, Request Header is too long". What do I do?

Clear your browser cookies and cache. Next close and reopen your browser and try logging back in.

I cannot log in with another ClassLink account. What do I do?

This is a common issue with the Safari browser. Install the Google Chrome browser. Use Incognito Mode for additional users.

The ClassLink LaunchPad Extension on Safari is disabled. What do I do?

After you install the ClassLink LaunchPad Extension for the Safari browser, go into the Safari Preferences menu and click on Extensions.

Enable the extension by clicking on the checkbox to the left. See the screenshot below.
