Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month @ 7:00 PM
at the Kellogg School District Central Office Conference Room
Board of Trustees
The school district is governed by a five (5) member board. The members are elected for four (4) year terms. Each member must be a qualified voter in the school district and a resident of the zone he or she represents. Each zone served represents a constituent population of not more than 10% apart (the largest zone population, minus the smallest zone population, divided by the largest zone population). A trustee zone map and zone population equalization report are available at the district office for review.
POLICY 1012 - PATRON COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
Patrons from this district having concerns or complaints regarding any aspect of this school district and/or the services it provides to the school-age students residing in its boundaries may submit those concerns or complaints in writing following the procedure set forth below:
Matters concerning an individual school shall be discussed first with the principal of that school;
If the problem is not resolved at the school level, it may then be brought to the superintendent of schools;
If the problem is not resolved with the superintendent of schools, it may then be bought before the board in the following manner:
The request, concern or complaint shall be submitted in writing to the board at least five (5) days before the regularly scheduled board meeting;
Participants shall identify whom they represent and shall be asked to comment on their questions or problems;
Personnel complaints against any school district employee shall not be heard in open session;
The board reserves the right to set time limitations for presentations and speakers.
