KSD Board of Trustees Accepting Applications to Appoint Zone 5 Trustee
The Zone 5 trustee represents the Kingston area on the south side of I-90, areas on the east side of the North Fork CDA River and east to Cataldo and Rose Lake. A map and legal description of the zone can be found on the district website at www.kelloggschools.org under the School Board tab.
The trustee position is to be filled until the November 2023 election.
Board member eligibility requires the candidate to be a registered voter in the school district with residency in the zone that he or she represents.
Applications must be submitted to the Kellogg School District no later than noon on Friday, May 19, 2023.

The main reasons for applying for the trustee position
Affiliation(s) with the District e.g. PTA, school volunteer, past or present committee participation, etc.

Application instructions:
1. Go to http://hr.kelloggschools.org
2. Click the “See All Open Positions” button - this will take you to the KSD
FastTrack site.
3. Click the “Click to view current job openings” link
4. Click on the KSD Board Trustee Zone 5 position to highlight/select it and you can click the “View Details of Highlighted Position” button to the right of the position listing(s) or “Apply for Selected Position(s)” to begin the application process.
5. If you do not already have a FastTrack account, you will be prompted to create one. If you do have a FastTrack account, you will be prompted to log in.
The Board of Trustees will review all applications and may appoint a candidate at a special public meeting that will be scheduled in June.

TRANSCRIPTS: Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application process. If you are hired, you will need to provide official transcripts.
IDAHO TEACHING CREDENTIAL: We do not require you to hold an Idaho teaching credential prior to being interviewed; however, holding the appropriate Idaho certification is a condition of employment.
